HE Sklope

Dam-toe plant on the Lika river at Kosinjsko polje, whose Kruscica reservoir (128 hm3 useful volume, embankment dam 81m high / 210m crest, spillway capacity 1,300 m3/s) feeds toward HE Senj downstream. 1 vertical Francis unit, 23.5 MW turbine / 22.5 MW generator, flow 45 m3/s. Built in just under 1.5 years, first spin October 1969, grid-synchronized January 1970. The Lika basin above Kosinjski most covers 1,125 km2 (975 km2 to the Kruscica reservoir itself). Average annual production ~85 GWh (max 132 GWh in 2014). Part of GHE Senj (with HE Senj), under Centar proizvodnje Zapad. Coordinates are a town-level estimate (Kosinjsko polje), not plant-exact.
