HE Vinodol

High-pressure reservoir plant in Tribalj, hinterland of Crikvenica. Draws on the combined Lokvarka and Licanka river system via the Bajer accumulation lake, topped up by CHE Fuzine and RHE Lepenica. Gross head 658m -- one of the highest achieved in any European hydro plant. 3 units, each 2 horizontal Pelton turbines + 1 generator, 31.5 MW installed per unit. Average annual production ~136.66 GWh. Also has a 470 kVA house Pelton generator. Leading plant of GHE Vinodol (with HE Rijeka and HE Gorski kotar's 3 plants), under Centar proizvodnje Zapad. Provides ancillary services (automatic secondary regulation, tertiary regulation, black start, island operation). Coordinates are a town-level estimate (Tribalj), not plant-exact.
