Vjetroelektrana Rudine

Located near Slano, ~32km NW of Dubrovnik (Dubrovačko-neretvanska County). Construction began August 2014, building completed late 2015, commissioned 26 April 2016. 12x GE 2.85-103 turbines, 2.85 MW each (34.2 MW total), hub height 85m, blade length 51.5m -> rotor diameter 103m (consistent with the "103" in the GE model designation itself -- a rare case where two independently-stated figures cross-check exactly). Annual production ~85 GWh/yr, ~20,000 households, ~24,000 tons CO2/yr avoided (MonthlyMwh = 85,000/12 = 7,083.33). Coordinate is thewindpower.net's own entry, explicitly marked "Precise localization: Confirmed". OWNERSHIP HISTORY (multi-source, fully traceable -- unlike Orlice): built and originally owned by RP Global (Austria), financed with EUR 53 million total (EUR 42.5 million debt from UniCredit + IFC/World Bank). In 2017, Mirova (French sustainable-infrastructure fund) bought a 95% stake from RP Global, which retained 5%. On 11 January 2022, Professio Energia d.d. (Croatia, owned by Croatian pension funds Erste Plavi, PBZ Croatia Osiguranje and Croatia Osiguranje d.d.) acquired 100% from Mirova and RP Global jointly -- RP Global's own press release on the deal states it continues to support Rudine's operations & maintenance under a service agreement with Professio Energia, recorded below as a separate OM claim (RP Global is NOT the current Owner). Current legal owner-of-record per the Croatian court/FINA registry: Vjetroelektrana Rudine d.o.o. (Zagreb, OIB 79935688003, founded 2009), 100%-owned ("jedini član") by Professio Energia d.d. -- matches the producer name already recorded in this project's own dbo.Hrote table ("VJETROELEKTRANA RUDINE d.o.o."). Investor uses this current SPV, not RP Global. COMMISSIONYEAR UPDATE (2026-07-20): HOPS's official August 2025 monthly wind-generation report lists this plant as "in regular operation since 2015", one year earlier than the 26 April 2016 commissioning date sourced from press coverage previously used here. Per user decision, HOPS is treated as authoritative for CommissionYear going forward; the 2016 date is preserved here rather than deleted, most likely reflecting a later commercial-operation milestone than HOPS's own "regular operation" criterion (construction completed late 2015 per the original Notes, consistent with HOPS's 2015 figure).
