Reservoir high-head derivation plant, underground powerhouse at Plat (between Dubrovnik and Cavtat), reached via a 520m access tunnel. Draws water from the Trebisnjica river basin -- facilities span two countries: the Gorica dam + compensation basin + intake are in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the headrace tunnel is partly in FBiH/partly in Croatia, and the surge chamber, penstock, powerhouse, tailrace tunnels and breakwater are in Croatia. Originally 2x108MW Francis units from 1965 (Phase I of a planned 4-unit powerhouse, phases II-IV never built); revitalized 2013-2015 with new Francis runners, 2x55 m3/s installed flow, rated head 269.52m. Currently available capacity 2x126 MW (or 2x117.5MW if both units run simultaneously) -- used 126x2=252MW here; HEP's technical-data table separately states "Instalirani protok: 48" per unit, inconsistent with the body text's 55 m3/s post-revitalization figure -- used the higher/narrative value, discrepancy noted. Unit A serves Croatia's grid, unit B serves the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina's grid. Also has 2 small 1MW Pelton "house" units. Can provide ancillary services (tertiary regulation, island operation, black start). Organizationally linked to HE Zavrelje nearby. Coordinates are a town-level estimate (Plat), not plant-exact.
